MyID is often credited as a simple yet efficient Open ID (shared identity) provider that can be used to log into various online websites. MyID belongs to a class of applications that have changed the way people earlier used to login to various sites which involved them remembering different IDs and passwords for different websites. MyID can be used for creation, management and to authenticate and support other IDs and passwords with the help of API service. MyID is one of the services provided by 'Openmaru' which is a studio of developing Internet services of the gaming company 'NCsoft Corporation'.
