Senduit is a simple file sending application. It allows you to share files up to 100MB. You don't have to give Senduit any information except for the file and the expiration time. After uploading the file, you get a link to share with the receiving party yourself.

Senduit is made by Davidville, a development company from New York. It is hosted by Amazon which means that the up- and download speeds in the United States should be fast no matter how many users there are.

The most distinctive aspect of Senduit is the minimalistic design. There is no registration option, no progress indicator on uploads and you'll have to email the download link to the receiving party yourself. This makes the website quick and elegant to use if your requirements are as simple as the website itself.

The Senduit interface is as minimal as it can be. You are greeted with a simple screen where you can select the file to upload and the expiration time. While uploading the file you see an animation but you don't know whether the file is really uploading and how fast it is. After the upload is finished you get a link that you can share with the receivers.

No registration is required or possible with Senduit. When you upload a file you don't even put in a receiver email address. You have to copy-paste the download link and share it over email or instant messaging yourself. One of the unique features is that you can set the expiration time for a download yourself from 30 minutes to 1 week.

Senduit displays advertising to the receiver of a file. They have to wait 120 seconds before the download starts. If they use a browser with tabs then they can surf to other sites while the ad is playing. After 120 seconds the download starts automatically so no checking is necessary.

We recommend Senduit for simple tasks like sending some holiday photo's to a friend. Because the receiver has to watch an ad we wouldn't use it for professional purposes. And because there is a limit of 100MB and no upload indicator we wouldn't use it to send larger files.
