ZeroPC permits users to transform their desktop into a virtual computer on a browser. The application works by giving users a familiar desktop interface to place all of their files and folders. The user can access their virtual desktop any time from any computer with internet access by logging in to ZeroPC. A new user can create a ZeroPC account by clicking the green and white “Sign Up” button in the upper, right hand corner of the page. The following page presents the user with the registration form and two buttons. The top button (in the right had column) allows the user to sign in with an existing Facebook account while the bottom button provides access with a Google account. Those who prefer to sign up for a ZeroPC account can fill out the form to the left, which asks for a first and last name, email address and password.
ZeroPC provides users with a pay as you go billing system. The user pays a one dollar daily minimum. Rather than charge a subscription fee, the user pays based on the amount of storage and data transfers the user requires each day. ZeroPC charges approximately one and a half cents per GB per day for storage and around 70 cents per GB for data transfers. Users are awarded free instant credit for creating a ZeroPC account. The user can add more credit to their account, but must deposit a minimum of around $10 to do so.
ZeroPC is a great solution for anyone who frequently travels from their personal or work computer. The application provides instant access to all the files the user needs and provides users a pay as you go billing system.
