What can you use the application for?
Yotify is a tidy piece of online application which can keep track of updates and notify the user. Let’s face it. A normal healthy individual spends at least one hour a day clicking through various website interests. Keeping abreast of job postings, sale offers and bargains, news etc. is par for the course. Yotigy.com can manage your interest on the web and save quite a bit of clicks and time along the way. In some ways, it is a must for the web savvy. One of the features which can prove to be useful is the inclusion of friends in the notification process. Community scouts and scouts shared with friends can give significant inputs to the creative process. A scout is the required information which can be set on yotify.com. One can specify the source of information may it be blogs, news portals, shopping travel or classifieds.
What is the history and popularity of the application?
Information regarding its history is difficult to come by and the website is quite cagey about the developers. The current user base is increasing day by day as more internet users realize it’s potential.
What are the differences to other applications?
Yotify.com is unique in several ways. Unlike RSS feeds which transmit all new additions to a blog or site, in yotify one can specify with the help of keywords, when they would like to be notified. This translates into a kind of filter which can be setup to identify relevant information. yotify.com is an alert with smarts. To some extent the information is skewered towards shopping and job portals but not limited to them. As the platform develops further, the scope would certainly increase to encompass a slew of other websites. In yotify.com one can share their notifications with friends as well as a community which differentiates it from a normal search engine. Looking ahead, it will become more relevant as additional sites are added.
How does the application look and feel to use?
The application is easy to use. The front end is simple and intuitive as all good interfaces should be. The designers seem to be hands-on kind of people and maybe because of this , no help or FAQ are evident. The video tour is also skeletal. On the other hand, the application is so basic that one can start learning with usage. Setting up yotify is easy and a breeze.
How does the registration process work?
Registration is also very simple. While signing up we have to provide a bit of information. A confirmatory email is sent with a link, following which we are automatically registered. One can subscribe to their newsletter and some other stuff but all of it is optional.
What does it cost to use the application?
It is free and there are no strings attached. There is no need for providing credit card information which can make many of us breathe easy.
Who would you recommend the application to?
Yotify.com is a useful application. It can save plenty of time for busy bees. This application is for medium to heavy users of internet and not for newcomers. Job seeks and shopoholics will find this a nifty application.

I don't like that Yotify requires you to select a specific source. And maybe they could make an RSS tracking version that doesn't require you to create an account.
