What can you use the app for?

Usabilla provides website designers and owners with a great deal of insight into the effectiveness of their designs. The application allows users to choose web pages or submit images to be tested. The user also supplies a list of questions that Usabilla will ask the test participants. Participants then view the user’s web page or image and answer with notes and points right on top of the image or page. The user is given the test results and can visually see areas that need improvement or those that fared well. Usabilla helps website designers find usability errors and measure performance. They can also gather feedback with helpful notes that can help them move in the right direction to maximize their website to provide an optimum user experience.

What is the history and popularity of the app?

Usabilla was founded in January of 2009 by Paul Veugen. The company is currently based in Amsterdam and includes fewer than 10 individuals. The application was intended to provide transparent usability feedback for its users. The user would remain in control by supplying the questions to be asked so they get the responses they need. Usabilla utilizes hosting services offered by Virtual Concepts and Amazon Web Services. They also employ Mercury Global Partners for marketing and public relations.
