TypePad is the only major paid blogging application. It looks great and is used by many individuals and companies.
How does the application look and feel to use?
The default look of TypePad and your blog is fine. It is clean and easy to read. However, the fixed width layout of the pages means there is a lot of unused screen to both sides of your content.
How does the registration process work?
Registration is tough. The email address isn't checked but you need to fill out a lot of fields including a birth date. There is a 14-day free trail but you need to give your credit card details to use it.

Membership levels go from 4.95 to 29.95 dollar a month. The most affordable plan doesn't have a photo album nor customization of the look of your blog so expect to pay at least 8.95 per month.
