TV Trip allows you to look at hotel rooms before you set foot in the country or even leave your own home. Choosing a hotel can be a bit like a minefield, there are so many different hotels to choose from, all of which will be different. Most people will want to make sure that they choose a clean hotel that is close to where they want to visit, and also has all of the features they require. This should technically be possible by visiting the hotels website (if they have one) however these website are often biased as they are trying to sell you a hotel room after all. TV Trip makes this much easier by allowing you a tour of the hotel room without having to check in.

TV Trip is very popular because everyone wants to make sure that they are staying in a comfortable hotel that’s clean and safe. There are over 88,000 different hotels registered on the site in over 17,000 different destinations. The site was launched in June 2007 by four ex-expedia managers, and was also supported by an ex-expedia CEO.
What are the differences to other applications?
TV Trip allows you to see videos of your hotel room before leaving your home, and it also allows you to see a video of the surroundings of the hotel. This makes it much easier to choose where it is you want to stay. Reviews are also provided from trip advisor, and hotels can be booked from one of the partner sites.
How does the application look and feel to use?
TV Trip is very easy to use, if you are interested in choosing a hotel that you would like to stay in then you simply need to click the region you want to visit on the map. Then choose the country, and then start searching through the hotels. Not all hotels have videos yet which can be a little disappointing. Without the videos the site is little more than a hotel review site, of which there are plenty. Not to mention the reviews are just from trip advisor.
How does the registration process work?
Searching for hotels does not require an account, but if you want to use the service to plan your trips then you will need to sign up to an account first. You can do this by clicking the small signup link at the top right hand corner of every page. You then need to enter your email address, and choose a password. You will then be registered and you will automatically be logged into your account. You are then free to change your profile or many any other changes you like. An email is sent which includes your password in plain text; this isn’t exactly the best feature of the site. It’s a good idea not to use your main password.

Using TV Trip is completely free; they make money from commission and adverts on their site. If you go through to book a hotel then they will earn a certain amount of commission.
