TODOFeed gives users a social way to get things done. Users can build to do lists that they share with others. To begin, the user creates a specific to do list. This could be intended for any group, from fellow travelers planning a group trip to a handful of students holding a study group. The user adds all the necessary tasks to their list then shares the list with all those who are participating. Each use can choose which task or tasks they will complete so everyone is on the same page and given a chance to decide how they would like to contribute to the group effort. Users can log in and view all of their recent activity as well as a status note that shares what they are currently working on. TODOFeed also provides users with a separate page that lists all lists requests received.
TODOFeed was created to give users a simple, flexible way to collaborate on a project or undertaking. The application was designed to be rather basic, which gives the user more options. The current version works well for personal tasks as well as collaboration among team members and other groups.
The social element offered by TODOFeed is what makes it so appealing to some users. Many applications allow users to build a personal to do list. Some of these can be shared, however TODOFeed is one of the few that allows users to collaborate and take on tasks as well as create lists.
After logging in, the user is presented with their simple yet attractive profile page. A gold header bar stretches out across the top of the page with four links in white alongside the simple site logo. The headers for each page on the user’s profile offers a stylish, almost pencil drawn quality that subtly enhances the unique look of the site. A majority if the page is white space beneath the user’s profile content.
TODOFeed lets users jump right in by presenting the registration form right on the homepage. The form is found along the right hand side and asks the user for a nickname, email address and password. A bold note at the bottom of the form advises the user that by submitting their information they are automatically agreeing to the TODOFeed terms. Users can also click the blue and white “Login with Facebook” button above the form to create an account through their existing Facebook profile.
TODOFeed invites all users to sign up and use its service for free. There are no subscription fees or other expenses associated with the application. The user can manage and participate in numerous to do lists. This is definitely a good thing to encourage more users to create to do lists and get their friends, coworkers or fellow students involved in projects.
TODOFeed.com is aimed at anyone who needs to complete activities with a group. The application makes it easy to share responsibilities and work together in a centralized place. Users can send and receive requests, so they can participate in multiple to do lists at once.
