Teamwork Project Manager is another web based project management application. The features available are intended to help team members and related individuals work together more effectively. The online platform helps close distance gaps so anyone can participate in a project, regardless of where or when they can access the project manager application. Project leaders can assign detailed tasks to users through Teamwork Project Manager so that everyone knows what they are expected to do and when it must be done by. Additional features offer messaging functions, milestone tracking, time tracking, file management, scheduling calendars, email integration and a resources tab.
Teamwork Project Manager was founded in January of 2007 by Daniel Mackey and Peter Coppinger. Today, both Mackey and Coppinger hold positions as Directors along with Sam Kidd. Based out of Cork, Ireland, the Teamwork Project Manager team consists of about five individuals. Team Project Manager continues to offer helpful features to its users.
It would be difficult to count all of the project manager applications available today. Suffice it to say there are quite a few. Teamwork Project Manager is another that offers many of the same features as its competitors. Of course these features are popular for a reason. It is because they work well and are something that users actually need out of their project management application. While Teamwork Project Manager is not terribly unique in what it does, it still offers a solid selection of features that work.
The Teamwork Project Manager website is very clean, including a stylish green and blue logo and blue and white color scheme. The hues help give the site some personality. The layout is easy to navigate so that even a newcomer can quickly find what they are looking for. And get answers about the application. The actual tools are equally clean, with a straightforward design that features a white background and enough white space to make each task easy on the eyes.
Visitors can begin creating an account by clicking on either the orange “Use it Free” button along the left hand side of the homepage, or the matching orange tab at the top that reads “Pricing/Sign Up.” The first step asks for company information, including a company name and time zone. After clicking next, the user is asked for their first and last name, email address, username and password. The next step asks the user for a desired Teamwork Project Manager URL (which is automatically populated by the company name the user supplied but can be edited). The user is then advised that their 30 day free trial has begun.
Teamwork Project Manager offers users the choice of give membership types. The first is the Personal which runs under $15 per month and includes up to five projects, 1 GB of storage space and unlimited users. The Business 1 plan costs just under $25 per month and upgrades to 15 projects and 5 GBs of storage space. The popular Business 2 plan costs about $50 per month and includes up to 35 projects and 20 GBs of storage space. Next is the Corporate plan which cost about $100 per month and includes up to 100 projects and 32 GBs of storage space. The most expensive membership is the Enterprise, which costs just under $150 per month. This membership upgrades to include unlimited projects and up to 80 GBs of storage space.
Teamwork Project Manager is ideal for any professional that needs to manage a project. The five membership levels makes it easy for businesses of all sizes to find a plan that suits their needs and fits into their budget.
