I had issues a few years ago with the continuous renewal. Prior to leaving my last job I had switched the credit card on our work account on SurveyMonkey from my personal card to my boss's work card. When my boss quit and the card was cancelled (I had quit at least 6 months before that), SurveyMonkey then charged my personal card for the renewal. I called, emailed with no response from SM. I had to cancel it through my credit card. They did this every year for 3 years until finally I got a response when I threatened to start a criminal complaint. Not good SurveyMonkey!
