Projecturf is a project management tool that helps users get a better grasp on schedules and progress. The application provides a centralized place for users to communicate with others in their team or group. Users can respond to discussion topics via email, without logging in. The application also supplies users with reports and graphs as well as Gantt charts. Sub tasks allow the user to break down responsibilities and create a check list. File versioning is supported so the user can see previous versions along with the author and date they were saved. The quick jump menu allows users to quickly move between their most active projects without losing the section they are currently working on. Projecturf was founded in 2008. The application was intended to provide users with a functional project collaboration solution. A new user can create a Projecturf account by clicking the green “Sign Up Now” tab in the upper, right hand corner of the homepage. The registration form can be found in the green box to the right on the following page. The form asks for a valid email address and password. The user can click the grey “Sign Up Now” button at the bottom to continue. The following page asks for a first and last name, phone number, optional company name and referral source. The bottom of the form requests the user’s country, billing address, payment method and credit card information.
Projecturf makes it easy for users to purchase only as much access as they need. All users are given access to all features, unlimited team members and unlimited storage. The user pays on a per project basis. One project costs around $10 per month. Five costs around $20 per month while 20 projects increases to around $40 per month. Users can also choose 40 projects for around $70 per month, 70 projects for about $100 per month, 100 projects for around $120 per month or 150 projects for approximately $170 per month. An unlimited option is also available for around $200 per month.
