The My Account page allows you to change your password or add an OpenID login. The site is very responsive and page loads are quick. The available Firefox and Google Reader extensions allow you to add and manage feeds without visiting the Postrank site. In practice, these extensions integrated seamlessly with their respective applications. You only need to give your email adress and password to create a new account. You can also use your Yahoo or Google account to sign up. Postrank.com is a free service and the site displays no advertising. The registration process asks for email address and password only. There is no email validation required. You are also offered the option of logging into the site using OpenID, or your Google or Yahoo ID. Once registered, you can download the Firefox or Google Reader extension and add feeds to the service by visiting them and clicking on the Postrank icon. You also have the option of entering new feed addresses manually on the Postrank site. Postrank is recommended to any user who deals with more than a few RSS feeds.
