Plnnr is an application dedicated to helping internet users plan their next big trip. Users can manage their itinerary and planning tasks through the site. Plnnr auto generates itineraries based on the user’s preferences. The application even accounts for working days, hours of operation for local businesses, distances between attractions and much more. This level of planning helps the user enjoy a smoother trip that is less likely to encounter common travel obstacles. The application is also intended to help users save time when making travel plans. They can review their schedule, routes, meal plans and more. Plnnr has incorporated money saving features as well. These allow the user to compare the prices of hotels in the area they plan to visit. The user can save time on their planning tasks and save money while they travel by comparison shopping through Plnnr.
Plnnr was founded in 2009. It was intended to provide users with an automatic trip itinerary planning tool. Rather than turning to outdated guide books and other cumbersome resources, users can log on to Plnnr and set up their preferences then let the system generate the ideal itinerary. Today many people turn to Plnnr to seamlessly organize their next trip.

Plnnr helps combine both by giving the user an effective travel planning tool that takes the burden off of the user. The application will actually generate an itinerary for the user, so they can prepare their journey in far less time.
The Plnnr website invites users to travel with a soft color scheme that gives the site an original appearance. The header at the top of the page features a faded blue hue, similar to a pleasantly clear sky. A narrow white divider runs between the header and the pale purple bottom of the webpage, highlighted by a small mound of puffy clouds designed into the divider bar. Users can quickly select their preferences by clicking on the stylish silhouette icons which also feature color flag images and other artistic elements. Overall the site strikes a beautiful balance of color, design and user friendly layout.
A new traveller can begin using Plnnr by clicking the gold “Get Started Now” button at the bottom, center of the homepage. The following page asks the user to select their destination. A number of popular choices are available, including Florence, Italy, Dublin, Ireland, Berlin, Germany, Amsterdam, Netherlands and others. Next, the user is asked to supply the dates for their trip. The third step asks the user to choose a theme, which includes outdoor trips, culture trips, trips with kids and the best of (which is recommended for first time visitors). The last two steps ask the user to choose a luxury level and intensity. Users can also create an account by clicking the black “Sign Up” link just below the header in the upper, right hand corner. The form asks the user for a username, full name, email address and password. Facebook login is also available.
The price of Plnnr is another reason some travellers use it. Anyone can generate an itinerary and/or create an account for free. There are no subscription fees or other costs associated with using Plnnr.
Plnnr is a helpful tool for anyone who is making travel plans. Although the site features numerous popular travel destinations, it is still a bit limited. As long as the user is traveling to one of the locations listed on Plnnr, they can really benefit from using this application.

needs work, but it is a good start. main problem is no public transportation or bicycle feature. big cities are better covered than the little ones. good for a first time visitor to Paris or London.

Bad app. Limited locations from which to choose. Waste of time.
