How does the registration process work?

New user can register by opening the Pixlr image editor then clicking the white “Sign Up” link in the upper, right hand corner. A small pop up box appears and asks for a name, email address and password. The user is automatically logged in as soon as the form is successfully submitted. Software: Pixlr. Speed: Fast considering that it is an internet application. The upload time and save time was slower than a downloaded program would be, but still maintained a good average speed. Accessibility: Very accessible, it is available from the internet Interface: Has a easy-to-follow and simple interface, which allows the most useful tools to be the most accessible Tools: It includes most of the tools that photoshop comes with and in a very similar layout. Cost: Free. Ease of Use: Comfortable to use because it is similar to the Photoshop. Cons: * Does not have the fine cropping tool that Photoshop does, or the shade tool where you can extend/decrease a selected area * Cannot edit the photo in terms of altering facial features, adding complex special effects, etc. * You cant save an image on the website so you are unable to save and resume from a different computer entirely within the program. * The first layers are locked and you can't do much with them * The text does not resize with the photo so you have to go back and resize the text individually which can be tricky Rating: ★★★★☆
