PhotoPeach is a simple, no frills slideshow web based application which can be used to make slideshows from your photos. PhotoPeach is one of the most simple applications which is designed to do this, and is great for anyone wanting to make slideshows where their photos keep the viewers attention. It’s a very straightforward and simple application to use and unlike others does not have as many themes. Whether or not this is a bad thing depends on whether you really actually use these. The application also allows people to make comments on slideshows. PhotoPeach Beta launched in January 2009, the service is run by the same company as the popular Notaland online notebook application. All of the slideshows that you create using PhotoPeach will be private by default; however a complex link is also provided so that you can share it with anyone even if they don’t have a photopeach account. One of the best features is the ability to embed your slideshow into your blog or on your website. As PhotoPeach and Notaland are both from the same company you only actually need one account. One of the best features about PhotoPeach is that it’s very simple to use. There are many other online slideshow applications; however the problem is that many of them are extremely complicated or are designed to create stunning multimedia slideshows. PhotoPeach is centered fully around making your photos shine. Using PhotoPeach to create a slideshow is really easy, as soon as you’ve logged in you get to your dashboard. From here you can simply click the “Create new Show” button; you are then guided through the process to create your very own PhotoPeach slideshow. First you need to get your photos uploaded; you can either do this by uploading them from your computer, or by getting them from Flickr, Picassa or Facebook. Once you’ve done that you can then arrange the photos by dragging and dropping them. After that you get to choose background music and then your slideshow is ready to be shared with everyone. Registering for an account with PhotoPeach is very simple, however you don’t need to if you already have an account with Notaland. Registering will involve you entering a username, password and filling in your email address. As you don’t have to confirm your password it’s a good idea to be careful when entering it. As soon as you’ve done that you are registered and can start creating your first slideshow. It’s completely free to use PhotoPeach and there don’t seem to be any adverts anywhere on the site. Quite how this site is making money is a mystery. PhotoPeach is a fantastic web based application for anyone that is looking for a way to create a no frills photo slideshow to share with other people. This is much easier to use than many of the other tools available, but it lacks advanced features.
