Pageonce is a bill payment app that lets users send payments and handle debts from anywhere. The application eliminates the need to mail bill payments the traditional way (which saves the user the cost of stamps and possible late fees). The user can visit one profile to see all of their current account data. Each bill is listed with the name of the company associated with it, what type of bill it is, how much is due as well as minimum payment amounts (if applicable) and wen the bill is due or how many days late it is. The application also sends reminders and alerts so the user isn’t blindsided by forgotten bills. Users can access their accounts on their computer or on any Android or iPhone mobile device..

Pageonce was founded by Guy Goldstein and Ahikam Kaufman in May of 2007. The application was meant to give users an easy, manageable personal finance system. The application has earned high marks for its convenience, although user have noted it is not the best for those who actually want to learn better ways to spend their money. Pageonce is preferred as a simple way to manage bill payments in one place.

Pageonce isn’t terribly unique, but it does offer a convenient service that some users may find extremely appealing. Users can check up on amounts due and handle bill payments from their computer or mobile phone. The user can make a payment before it becomes late or while they are thinking about it, even if they cannot make a call or buy a stamp. Online bill payments aren’t uncommon, but Pageonce lets users handle all their online payments without logging in and out of separate accounts.

Pageonce earns its reputation partially for its clean interface. The design is very simple to understand, even for those who are not financially-inclined. The application presents the user with the information they really need and nothing more. Within seconds, the user can see due dates, amounts and make payments. The application can reduce the amount of time spent paying bills thanks to its user friendly interface and clutter free layout.

New users can start the registration process on the Pageonce homepage. A short form is found along the left side. The form asks for an email address and password. After clicking the green “Join Now” button below the form, the user is asked to select their mobile device. Options include iPhone or iPod Touch, Android, Blackberry, Windows Phone 7 or iPad. Next the user is asked to select the app they want for their device (either Pageonce money and bills or Pageonce travel). The user can utilize the QR Code at the bottom of the page to start the download or click the blue “web application” link in the upper, right hand corner to provide a password and security question and answer before continuing to their account.

All new users are given a free Pageonce account when they sign up. This is supported by advertisements and promotions. Users are also given the option of upgrading to a Pageonce Gold subscription. The site doesn’t offer any information on the Gold account or any instructions on how to upgrade (even after the user has logged in to their account). The site does mention a premium version that can be purchased from the Blackberry App World store. The premium version costs $6.99 for Blackberry devices.

Pageonce is an appealing application for anyone who wants a basic way to manage bills. Some users were a little concerned about giving their financial information to the app, so it is really up to the user if they feel comfortable using Pageonce. Those that do will find that the interface streamlines the experience so bills can be paid very quickly and with little hassle. The application also lets users quickly retrieve their current account information.
