The only real downfall is that the restaurants must be affiliated with OpenTable or individuals cannot use the application to make reservations. In order to receive email updates, dining rewards points, and online reservation management, a brief registration is required. First and last name, email, password, and primary dining city must be provided. The service is free to consumers. Restaurants must contact OpenTable for pricing and inclusion in the application. This application is useful for individuals wanting to make online reservations. It would also be valuable for concierge services, administrative assistants, or anyone requiring fast, real time reservation services. The downside is that the restaurant must have OpenTable services.
