What can you use the app for?

Most professionals and individuals today have many contact options. OnePage allows users to compile all of their information and contact details into a single online contact card. This can be passed around to anyone quickly and easily. The user can add a brief description or paragraph about themselves along with an image. The majority of the OnePage contact card features the user’s basic contact information, such as phone numbers, websites, geographical location, email addresses and Skype information as well as Facebook, Vimeo, Last.FM, Digg, Delicious, Flickr, RSS feed and Twitter details.

What is the history and popularity of the app?

OnePage was founded in 2009 by Joel Gascoigne, Adelle Charles and Oo Nwoye. Located in Birmingham, Great Britain, the OnePage team still includes Gascoigne as the Chief Technical Officer. Nwoye is no longer an official member of the team but has moved on to continue work as a Nigerian entrepreneur who hopes to inspire others with the same background to start their own businesses online.

What are the differences to other apps?

Posting contact information online is by far not a new concept. What makes OnePage so unique is the way the application handles the task. Users can create very clear, concise contact cards that can be shared with others. The user’s profile is very easy to read and eye-catching, making them a great choice for professionals and businesses.

How does the web app look and feel to use?

A OnePage contact card looks good and functions very well. A small image can be included, usually of the user who owns the contact card A small paragraph can be added with a little information on the user. The bottom of the contact card includes icons for the many ways the user can be reached. Almost anything can be put on a OnePage contact card, from website URLs to social networking profiles and RSS feeds.

How does the registration process work?

A newcomer is given many options when creating a OnePage account. Along the right hand side, the user can find three blue buttons and one green button. The blue buttons allow the user to sign up through an existing Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn account. The top green button allows the user to take the standard approach. This method asks the user for an email address. After submitting an email address, the user is advised that they must check their inbox for a confirmation message which needs to be accessed to continue. After doing so, the user is taken to the final step of registration which requires a desired OnePage URL and password.

What does it cost to use the application?

Currently, OnePage is available to anyone who is willing to take a few minutes to make an account. The process is painless and requires no credit cards or other payment information. The site does not yet offer a premium paid membership. This is a nice bonus considering the simplicity of the service being offered. The Press FAQ page hints at the addition of future premium features, however it does not elaborate on what those might be or how much they will cost. For the time being, anyone can use OnePage for free.

Who would you recommend the application to?

OnePage is great way to condense a significant amount of contact information into one convenient online contact card. Users can pass their OnePage profile around as a quick and easy way to give someone access to all of their profiles and contact details. OnePage even allows users to enter RSS feed information and website URLs.
