Mijura.com is a task and project management tool that helps users keep entire teams on track. The application includes a priority centre that allows users to view recent meetings, created tasks and track progress. The user can also search for specific items by keyword. Meeting notes can be added by users and include the individual’s name as well as how long the task is taking. Team members can view each other’s priority tasks, providing transparency to help the team work more efficiently as a whole. The user can shift tasks from one team member to another to help balance out workloads. Tasks appear in the order that they need to be completed and Mijura will automatically track time spent on all tasks for all users. The user is sent a notification when their task priority changes. Users can also see when a task is modified, commented on or moved. Collaboration tools are also included that allow users to search all team tasks and comment on tasks assigned to others.

Mijura was founded in March of 2011 by Adam Brimo and Prashant Varanasi. The application was intended to provide a business productivity software solution. The team is currently based in Sydney, Australia.

Mijura offers many of the same project management tools as other applications, however it seems to place a focus on transparency and priority. Users can see tasks in the order that they need to be completed. Users can also comment on tasks assigned to others and view recent activity as well as priority tasks for the entire team.

The Mijura website welcomes teams with a blue and grey color scheme. The application takes some design elements from social networks, including the way user comments appear as a thread.

New users can create a Mijura account by clicking the dark blue and white “Sign Up Now!” button found near the lower, right hand corner of the homepage. The following page asks the user to choose their preferred plan before continuing. After clicking the corresponding dark blue button, the user can choose between a monthly or yearly subscription by selecting one of the radio buttons at the top of the form. Below, the form asks for a first and last name, username, email address, password, access name and optional coupon code.

Mijura supplies its users with four membership options. The first is a free Micro account that includes access to the Priority Centre for up to four users as well as 500 MBs of storage space and daily backups. The Starter plan costs around $50 per month and includes up to 10 users, secure access to the Priority Centre, 2 GBs of storage space and a one month free trial. The Professional plan costs just under $100 per month and includes up to 25 users and 10 GBs of storage space. The Enterprise plan allows up to 100 users and 50 GBs of storage space for around $300 per month.

Mijura could help a team operate more efficiently. The tools are not really difficult to use and can help teams spend less hours getting more done. Users can view priority tasks, see what their fellow team members are doing and provide comments and information on specific tasks.
