Me2Team helps users develop a plan of action. The application speeds up the planning process and helps users stay organized throughout the completion of their projects. The application works with Safari, Google Chrome, Opera, FireFox and Internet Explorer browsers. Users can generate and print team reports and set up automatic notifications so everyone stays on top of project progress and responsibilities. The web based nature of the application allows users to work with team members regardless of where they are physically located or what time zone they are in. The application automatically arranges and sorts through the team’s work data and pulls any critical data so it is easy to access and understand. Me2Team also automatically updates task maps each time a team member makes a change or update. To do lists are included so users can schedule their activities and determine what needs done. The user can view a progress report in the form of a Gantt view that reveals the team’s current progress toward the overall goal. Progress charts can be emailed to team members and managers. The application also includes SSL security.

Me2Team was created by Taskey. The Taskey company is based out of Canberra. The team currently offers software development tools and consulting services to clients. The company was founded by Dr. Neil Miller in 1991. Dr. Miller has been focused on leadership and management methods as well as software development. He created a 10 page work plan that is currently being utilized in more than 150 countries throughout the world.

Me2Team is appealing for some users because it automates much of the team planning and monitoring process. The user can set up a plan for the team and allow Me2Team to generate tools, reports and monitor progress. The application sends out email notifications whenever a team member makes a change or update that affects others. The application is also available to iPhone users.

Me2Team.com looks a bit outdated and cluttered. Each item is organized into utilitarian columns and rows. The application generates basic to do lists that include the information necessary for team members to complete each item efficiently.

A new user can register for Me2Team by clicking either the purple “Free Trial” button found along the right hand side of the homepage or the small blue “Try Me2Team” link in the upper, right hand corner. The following page presents the user with the registration form for a 15 day free trial. The form asks for the user’s first and last name (as well as a salutation), company name, time zone, email address, password and optional phone number. The user must also check the small white box at the bottom of the form to confirm their agreement with the Me2Team trial license.

Me2Team offers users four membership plans to choose from. The first is the Basic plan which costs around $10 per month and includes unlimited contracts, unlimited plans, unlimited strategies and projects, unlimited tasks, 5 GBs of file space, personalized to do lists, automatic coordination tools, PDF email capabilities, security features, reminders and online tutorials. The Starter Pack which costs approximately $30 per month. This plan includes access for one full user and two basic users, email notifications, mobile access, Gantt charts, PDF reports and templating. The Full plan costs the same and includes access for one user. An Enterprise account is available and can be customized to the user’s needs.

Me2Team is aimed at companies and organizations that need to oversee team projects. The application automates much of the organizational process and provides users with an accessible, centralized location to view team progress, project status and other vital information.
