MavenLink is a project management application that assists users in improving productivity and streamlining their work flow. MavenLink includes many features and can be integrated with Google Apps. Users can send email invitations to invite clients and colleagues into their customized work space as well as provide individuals with SSL secure access to the project. Users can set up specific permissions to users working on a project. MavenLink also provides scheduling tools, payment features, invoices, instant document viewing, file sharing of up to 20 GBs across all projects, project history, private messaging, real time group messaging, view filters, budgeting tools and time tracking features. MavenLink covers just about every aspect of project management.
MavenLink was founded in September of 2008. Based in San Francisco and Irvine, California, the MavenLink team currently includes CEO Raymond Grainger, Vice President of Marketing and Community Sean Crafts and Vice President of Products and Platform Roger Neel. Today, many users access MavenLink to efficiently complete projects and manage all aspects of scheduling, task assignments and billing.
MavenLink offers many services that other applications already offer. What makes the application stand out is the large number of tasks it can perform. MavenLink can handle just about everything related to project management. Users can request and receive payments, build invoices, monitor project history, send email invitations, set team member permissions, track project time, budget projects, share files and view files instantly using Scribd technology. MavenLink has consolidated all of these vital project tasks into one application.
MavenLink welcomes users with a deep blue color scheme and colorful logo that presents a very professional, though stylish, attitude. The application is clutter free and helps improve productivity through a clean interface. Color text, status bars and more help provide an appealing contrast while reviewing product data. Overall the application has a very friendly yet professional appearance that makes it a great tool for businesses.
New users can try MavenLink by clicking on the orange “Start Free Trial” button found along the left hand side of the homepage. The user must select their desired MavenLink plan to continue. After doing so, the user is asked to provide an email address, password, full name and credit card information. The user is advised that they will not be charged until their 30 day free trial has ended. Users can cancel or downgrade prior to being charged if they decide they wish to do so.
MavenLink provides users with four membership types to choose from. The first is a free account which includes up to one project creator, 500 MBs of storage space, one active project, unlimited participants and one invoice per project. Next is the Expert account which costs just under $40 per month and includes up to 20 GBs of storage space, unlimited projects, unlimited invoicing and custom branding. The Guru membership costs around $80 per month and includes up to three project creators, 100 GBs of storage space and account user administration features. The most expensive membership is the Maven which costs around $250 and upgrades to include up to 12 project creators and 500 GBs of storage space.
MavenLink is an ideal application for professionals who need a full spectrum of management tools. MavenLink includes everything necessary to not only manage work flow but also invoice customers, except payment and collaborate with individuals outside of the project team.

I would say that Mavenlink is the perfect collaboration tool for small,medium & large size of businesses. I find it very useful for my organization in terms of managing projects online, plus the Pro features are really amazing (Time tracking, Expense Tracking, Invoicing, etc.)

Mavenlink is an excellent platform for service providers to collaborate with project teams both internal and external to their business, i.e., clients and consulting teams like ours. :)
