LiveGO allows users to condense all of their chats, emails and social networks into one convenient place. The application provides advanced Twitter functions as well as features for Facebook. Users can add their MSN, Yahoo messenger, GTalk and/or AIM accounts as well as video and voice chat to LiveGO. The application supports Hotmail, Gmail and Yahoo email services as well. The user’s LiveGO dashboard provides summaries and access to all of their various accounts. The dashboard also provides updates so the user can see what their contacts are doing and saying. Social networking tools allow the user to check their feeds, comments, videos and photos posted by friends. The user can also update their social network status from LiveGO. User can bring together and interact with all of their accounts and social network contacts into one place.
LiveGO was founded in January of 2010 by Yusuf Yildirim. The application was intended to give users a centralized social communication hub that worked with all of their favorite chat programs, email services and social networks. The current LiveGO team consists of fewer than 10 individuals, including CEO Yildirim and Business lead Gulistan van der Linden.
Many applications provide users with another social network or communication source. LiveGO, on the other hand, helps users bring all of their existing networks and communication sources together into one convenient place. Users can view social network feeds and activity, check email and send messages all through the LiveGO dashboard. The application can reduce the amount of time needed to catch up on daily updates, feeds, emails and more.
LiveGO organizes all of the user’s accounts into one easy to manage location. The stylish logo features an orange and grey color scheme with the word “go” in a sleek chat bubble. The user dashboard provides a blue menu along the left hand side that gives the user access to their emails, social feeds, Facebook, Twitter and other linked accounts. The user can quickly click through and look for new updates in a matter of seconds.
A new user is given many options when registering for a LiveGO account. Since the application is intended for use with social networks, emails and instant messengers, it only seems fitting that the user would utilize an existing account to sign in. LiveGO provides six log in options which include Facebook, Twitter, AIM, MSN Messenger, Yahoo or Gmail. When signing in, the user can also opt to log into (or not log in to) the various chats that are included with some of their accounts. The user must log in through one of these accounts to access LiveGO.
LiveGO provides a helpful service that can help users save time and get organized. That being said, the application relies on these free services to offer any benefit to the user. Charging a fee would only deter users from signing up. The creators have kept LiveGO priced just right by providing free access for all users. The user only has to log in and add their accounts to begin accessing all current LiveGO features.
LiveGO is a great tool for anyone who feels overwhelmed by their social network, email and instant messenger accounts. The application allows the user to combine all of these items into one, convenient location.
