Lazy Meter is a very handy web application that can be used for keeping track of tasks that have to be completed within a stipulated time period. It is an extended version of a regular organizer. It cannot be used to replace a calendar as it is not designed as a event planner. Psychology student, Aaron believes that the tool is capable of tackling procrastination issues.

What is the history and popularity of the app?

LazyMeter was started at the Startup weekend in Seattle, WA by Aaron Franklin (formerly with Microsoft), Josh Runge (Ex-MIT and former Microsoft employee) and Zachary Clifford (an Ex-MIT student again). It is based and dominant in San Francisco and Boston and is completely self funded.

What are the differences to other apps?

LazyMeter is not just a simple calendar application that is combined with reminders. In comparison to the other applications, LazyMeter has the edge of the extent of progress made. This is a feature that allows users to keep track of the extent of the task completed in case of tasks that are large and are likely to take more time to complete. It also offers insights to keep a track of your completed tasks and monitor your productivity.

The LazyMeter web application is easy to use and is in fact very user friendly. The site has an easy learning graph and the webpages are joyfully light and load really quick.
