On the other hand, this is an online application which provides free storage with anywhere, anytime availability. Instead of loading a software package in multiple computers and struggling with different operating systems, this application is easier to use and is platform independent. Invoice Place has been developed by Growthbase Pty Ltd which operates from Brisbane, Australia. There are several other similar applications for invoicing available online. Some online applications offer invoicing as part of a larger CRM package. However Invoice Place is simple to use and caters to small businesses where one might not easily find tech savvy employees. Invoice Place has a simple and elegant user interface. It is really, really easy to use and is its major plus point. The interface is intuitive and users can easily navigate through different segments of the application. The registration process is simple and requires a few entries. While registering for the free version, there is no need for providing credit card information. One can test and try the application before committing resources. It's also possible to try a demo without registering or signing up. There are three packages available to choose from: Lite, Professional and Premium. The lite version is free. It can be used for trial purposes. Since only five invoices can be created with the Lite version, it is way too little to explore all features of the application. Monthly, annual and two year packages with different price points are offered. But the very essence of on demand application is lost when onetime payment is $320 for a two year subscription. In this context, the pricing model is impractical and one wonders how many customers would be ready to shell out this kind of money. Invoice Place is an easy to use application. However pricing is incompatible with the ‘On demand’ model on which the application is designed. If for a much lower price one can choose from many other invoice software packages one wonders who will choose Invoice Place.
