iCloud is the Apple cloud solution for storing all of your data. After saving your info in the iCloud, it then becomes available to all of your Apple devices connected to the Internet. No synchronization or management required, everything is done autonomously. iCloud synchronizes your documents, music, movies, and image libraries, contacts agenda, calendar, mail, and all your apps. With iCloud, any song purchased through iTunes appears on all your devices. Same happens when you take a photo. If you have the same app on all your devices, iCloud backs-up all your data and even keeps your documents up to date on all of them. It also stores email, calendars, and contacts and makes them available on all your devices.
The solutions was launched in June 2011 to replace Apple's previous Mobile Me service. So far, iCloud has been extremely well received by the public.
iCloud offers cloud solutions for so many services that it competes with: Google Docs, Megaupload, Dropbox, Gmail and other e-mail apps, etc. The major difference between iCloud and the rest is that all these solutions are offered with only one service in iCloud. Even more, the Apple service is advertisement free.
iCloud is completely free. There is only one fee of $25/year that users can pay if they want to store more of their music in iCloud. For this sum, you can upload up to 20,000 songs, iCloud will analyze them and will upgrade them to the quality of iTunes mp3: 128kbps, AAC. The feature is nice in itself but the best benefit users can expect from it is that it will even help you legitimize your pirated music. So for only $25 per year you will be able to “laundry” your music.
Any person owning an Apple device that can connect to the Internet can use this service.

Sure mobileme had a rough start, but its an infinitely better product compared to iCloud. I would happily pay to have something that works and is feature rich.
