FormStack provides users with a full list of features based around the creation and utilization of online forms. Users can build attractive, easy to use forms for website visitors to fill out. The forms can be added to websites without adding any software or using any programming skills. After the form has been implemented, the user can manage data collected by it through FormStack. The data can even be shared with other users within the organization. FormStack is also compatible with third party applications such as MailChimp, FreshBooks, SalesForce, and HighRise.

FormStack has seen a great deal of growth since it was first launched in March of 2006. The application is now used in 110 countries all over the globe. FormStack’s capabilities make it ideal for many purposes, even highly demanding websites that see a lot of traffic and many form submissions each day. FormStack’s clientele includes businesses and organizations that fall into the categories of non-profit, academic, small business, government, and Fortune 500 companies.

FormStack provides forms along with all the bells and whistles a user could possibly want. The forms look professional and are suitable for customers or business partners to use. FormStack helps simplify form management by calculating values for order forms and weighted surveys, adding layers of security and providing Excel or Word data export options. The user experience is kept simple and convenient while the forms gather information or perform tasks exactly as the user needs them to.

The overall appearance gives off an air of professionalism which compliments the forms users can create and manage through FormStack. The form builder interface is kept simple and clutter free. Almost anyone can quickly adapt to using FormStack, even with little computer knowledge.

A new visitor can register for FormStack by clicking on the gold “Sign up for free” button along the center, left hand side of the homepage. The user is first asked to select one of four membership plans by clicking on the corresponding “Sign Up” button at the bottom of each plan column. Next, the user must enter a first and last name, email address, and confirm to the terms of service. Scrolling down, the user will find the billing information form. This requires billing frequency (monthly or yearly), card number, expiration date, verification code, card holder name, billing address, and optional referral code. After entering the information, the user can click on the grey “Create Your Account” button at the bottom of the form to complete registration.

Each FormStack plan includes a 14 day free trial for new users. The Starter membership includes up to five forms with up to 50 fields per form, 500 saved entries per form, 500 MBs of storage space, one template and one user for just under $15 per month. The Professional plan upgrades to include up to 20 forms, 200 fields, 2,000 saved entries, 1 GB of storage, up to five templates and five users for around $30 per month. The Business plan runs just under $60 per month and includes up to 100 forms, unlimited fields, 10,000 saved entries, 2 GBs of storage, and up to ten templates and users. The Max membership is the most expensive, costing around $160 per month. This plan includes up to 1,000 forms, 100,000 saved entries, 10 GBs of storage space, 100 templates and up to 25 users.

FormStack offers a full list of features ideal for a business or organization. The user will have to pay, but there are four membership levels to choose from so the application can be fit into many budgets. FormStack is ideal for users who need a lot of variety and functions from their online forms.
