Today DocRaptor can be used in any programming language, including C#, JavaScript, Ruby and PHP.

The application utilizes simple HTML so the user can create their document then let the DocRaptor system generate the desired file type. The DocRaptor website has a very clean, neat design that features an origami raptor in white. The deep blue header gives the overall design more flavor. Navigation links can be found across the top of the website, above the white DocRaptor logo. Images and icons are used throughout although the site has a generally low key appearance. This works exceptionally well and compliments the site’s goals of making things simpler for the user.

A new user can sign up for DocRaptor by clicking the black “Sign Up” link in the upper, right hand corner of the homepage. The user must click the green “Sign Up” button that corresponds with their desired membership plan. The registration form appears on the following page and asks the user for a first and last name, email address, password, billing name, billing address ad credit card information.

DocRaptor offers a 30 day free trial to all users. The user’s credit card is not billed until after the 30 day free trial has expired (although the information is required to create an account). Users are given four membership options to choose from. The first is a Basic membership which includes up to 125 documents and around 12 cents per extra document for around $15 per month. The Professional membership costs just under $30 per month and upgrades to include 325 documents and just under 10 cents per extra document. The Premium membership costs around $75 per month and includes up to 1,250 documents and approximately 6 cents per extra document. The Max account costs around $150 per month and allows up to 5,000 documents and 3 cents per extra document.
