Cubender is designed to help users create websites. The application provides a list of flexible tools that allow users to build an attractive, functional web space for almost any purpose. Many features are available, including iPhone and iPad compatibility. Users can build galleries within a few clicks or choose colors using the Cubender innovative color tuner. Users can invite others to their online community and set permissions for private webpage viewing. Forms can be created easily using a drag and drop system and no installation is required to use Cubender.
The creators of Cubender wanted to design an online application that made it easy to create a professional website. Rather than stick with the current list of tools that other website building applications offer, Cubender was intended to revolutionize the process and make a few much needed improvements. The result is a long list of detailed features that allow users to find the perfect color scheme, ideal layout and a fitting style without sacrificing the functionality of their site or a great deal of their time in the design process.
Cubender stands out because it offers a long list of helpful tools that are versatile and detailed. Many other sites offer a website creation service, but this is usually extremely limited. Users can choose from templates or pick a few customizations and that is about it. Cubender provides professional tools that help the user create an eye-catching, functional website that can attract visitors.
Cubender uses a logical, simple to navigate layout that helps novice users get the hang of the site and available tools quickly. Detailed images help draw the user in while the actual functionality of each feature is simple to understand. Users can easily move and resize images by dragging and dropping. Content can be updated or changed by using the built in text editing tools. Each feature is designed for any computer user, even a novice.
A visitor can begin using Cubender by clicking on the blue “Sign Up” button found at the top right hand corner of the homepage. The user’s browser must allow pop ups to view the registration form. The form is relatively simple and asks for a full name, email address, password, and username (which will also be the user’s site name). A check box is positioned beside the email entry field to sign the user up for email updates and promotions. Users who do not wish to receive updates will have to manually uncheck the box.
Cubender provides users with the option of four affordable packages. The least expensive is the Venus which runs just under $10 per month or about $100 per year. This package includes a Cubender domain, six iStockPhoto credits, 500 MBs of storage space, up to five pages, unlimited bandwidth, no advertisements and a photo gallery widget. The Earth package includes a custom domain, 1 GB of storage space, unlimited pages, visitor commenting features, a news widget and Google Analytics tracking for about $14 per month or $145 per month. The Saturn package runs under $20 per month or $200 per year and upgrades to include 2 GBs of storage, private member accounts and a drag and drop form builder. The most expensive package is the Jupiter which costs about $30 per month or $300 per year. This membership includes 5 GBs of storage and a video player widget.
Cubender provides many helpful tools for website building. Anyone who wants to create their own web space can find a package that fits their budget and needs through Cubender. There are many options, which makes the application very versatile.
