Create My Tattoo brings people together with more than 700 creative tattoo artists online. The user describes their custom tattoo idea and receives 10 or more potential designs from the Create My Tattoo community. The user can then select their favorite and take it to a local tattoo shop to have it applied. During the selection process, the user can also give the artist feedback to help guide them I the right direction. Requests are posted in the form of a contest, which includes helpful details such as the individual’s gender and optional example images of other tattoos they like. Users also place a cash prize on their contests. If the user does not receive a design they like, they are eligible to receive all of their money back provided they meet the requirements (which include giving feedback to at least 70% of the design submitters during the contest).
CreateMyTattoo.com was developed in 2010 by Contest Mogul LLC. The website was intended to provide users with a unique marketplace that gave them a more personal way to find a custom tattoo design. Through contests, users could receive multiple options to choose from and pay an affordable fee for the design. Today, many people use Create My Tattoo to get creative ideas for their next tattoo.

Even the website logo utilizes an elegant logo that gives the website a very welcoming appearance and creative atmosphere.
A new user can register for a Create My Tattoo account by clicking the small white and tan “Register” button in the upper, right hand corner of the website. A pop up box appears that contains the registration form. The form asks the user for an email address, username, password and what the user wants (either to get tattoos or design them). A note at the bottom of the form advises the user that by submitting their information they are automatically agreeing to the Create My Tattoo user agreement.
Registering for a Create My Tattoo account is free. Users can browse existing projects and explore the site as much as they like. The website has set a minimum of around $35 for all tattoo contests. The user can increase that amount as much as they like, but their prize must always be at least that much.
Anyone who is interested in getting a tattoo but is not sure about the design can really appreciate Create My Tattoo. The website is also ideal for ambitious tattoo artists who are looking to expand their portfolios and make a little cash on the side.

I used this service for an shoulder flower tattoo in Dec 2011. I only got 11 designs to choose from, but one was prefect. I will most likely use their service again and would recommend it to a friend. - Kathy
