Check lists have proven to be a very valuable tool when planning and executing a project. CheckVist takes this concept and improves upon it with added features that give the user more options. Users can create lists that include hierarchies. They can add tasks and share their lists with others. Lists can also be printed or published online. CheckVist has also included built in keyboard short cuts to make it even easier for users to take notes quickly using the application. Import and export features are also available as well as notifications when changes are made to CheckVist lists. CheckVist gives individuals and teams a better way to work on projects and accomplish things. Team leaders can build prioritized lists and share them with the entire team or key team members who need the updated information quickly.
CheckVist was created by Trirt Software, a team that includes Kir Maximov and Sasha Maximov. The application was intended to give users a power yet simple tool that allows them to outline and create lists online. The online aspect makes it possible to send lists to more people in less time. Today CheckVist is still being developed and is currently in beta.
CheckVist makes it easy to create functional online outlines and lists that can be used for many purposes. The versatility of CheckVist makes it stand out. Users can build lists that allow them to collaborate with an entire team or a few other individuals to complete a project. Hierarchies can be applied and users can share their lists quickly online.
The CheckVist website uses a low key color scheme that gives it just the right amount of character. The primarily white background is contrasted with text and other subtle elements in blue and maroon. The layout is very well organized. Users can easily page through their CheckVist outlines and access relevant information quickly. The neat, clutter free layout contributes to the functionality of a tool like this. Overall, the design of CheckVist works in the application’s favor.
Newcomers to CheckVist can either click the red “Create Account” button at the top, right hand corner of the homepage or begin filling out the small registration form in the lower, left hand corner. The form asks for an email address, username and password. After clicking on the red “Welcome!” button at the bottom of the form, the user is taken to an outline style introduction page. The introduction explains each feature of CheckVist and how to use it s the user starts off strong to get he most benefit from the application.
Anyone can create a CheckVist account for free. There are no subscription fees or other charges when registering for a basic account. CheckVist also offers a premium paid membership option. This account includes secure HTTPS communications, read only checklist sharing options, task due email notifications, daily digest for change updates, new color coded tag features and UI customization settings. The user can visit their profile page and click the “Subscribe” button to sign up. The Pro account costs around $15 for six months of access. Payment is available through Paypal.
CheckVist is a helpful tool for anyone who has to organize a group and get a project done. The features are relatively simple when compared to more sophisticated team management applications. This is actually a benefit for users who only need the basics and prefer to pay less for them rather than subscribing to features they do not need.

Ditto on Pravs' comment below. I have gone through literally *dozens* of productivity and lists apps trying to find the right mix of simplicity of use and UI with massive complexity around task management. Happened across Checkvist after finding and falling in love with WorkFlowy, which was soooo close to being perfect but simply couldn't handle due dates well enough- well, couldn't handle them at all really. Since switching to Checkvist I probably spend about a third of the time managing my lists then I used to and WAY more time knocking out to-dos. The UI is clean and simplistic (almost to the point of being ugly), everything works flawlessy, and best of all I can enter tasks and modify their dates, tags, notes, etc. in nano-seconds without my fingers leaving the keyboard. Checkvist has an amazing collection of easy to learn keyboard shortcuts that save SO much time. Love this app! Absolute best for the list-minded people of the world.
