What are the differences to other applications?
Central Desktop is very similar to other collaborative workspace sites. Using cloud technology, users can co-author Word, Excel, and PowerPoint items, in real time, at a lower price than the newest version of Microsoft Office.
How does the application look and feel to use?
Desktop screen contains an overview video for beginning users that is clear and informative. Users may begin by creating a new project workspace, new wiki, new database, a la carte workspace, corporate blog, or user forum. Creating a new workspace is extremely fast and intuitive. In the new workspace, users may add files, tasks, milestones, a calendar, people, and any customized areas. Easy access to web meetings and a simple way to add favorite pages for fast navigation are also included. The comprehensive Help Center contains thorough instructions for using each feature of the application.

Registration requires a full name, email address, telephone number, country, state, time zone, username, password, number of team members, and desired uses for Central Desktop.
What does it cost to use the application?
Several Central Desktop plans are available. The free plan includes 2 workspaces, 5 members per workspace, 25 MB storage and 25 MB max upload per batch. SSL encryption and email and forum support are available. After 30 days, the free plan is limited to 100 activities per month. Paid plans are offered from $25-$99/month with the option to add web meetings for additional fees. Enterprise and Community editions are offered for larger corporations and non-profit institutions with fees to be discussed per job. There is a free 30 day trial option for Workgroup Editions.
