Cabanova.com is a website builder intended for small businesses. Users do not have to possess any programming or design knowledge to create an attractive site for their company, organization or personal use. The site supplies hundreds of templates so the user can choose one that suits their purpose, industry and needs. Specific pages can be added for photo galleries and guest books. Users can also incorporate forms, sounds, videos, maps and ecommerce tools. The application includes basic editing features such as text, images, tables, buttons, counters and shapes as well as enhanced features including a full text search, Flash games, hidden pages, Google Analytics and password protected pages. Social tools are also available that allow the user to access Facebook and Twitter plugins.
Cabanova was founded in October of 2006. The application was intended to provide companies and organizations with an easy way to create a functional, eye-catching website without spending hundreds or thousands on a professional programmer. The current version is geared toward novices with little to no programming experience. Many users also found that Cabanova offers a number of options with their basic accounts that include fewer limitations than are often found with other website builders.
Cabanova offers many of the same tools that other similar applications provide. It is hard to do something completely different with this type of service. That being said, the application still gives the user a lot of space to be creative and build a unique website. The application does not take much effort to learn so the user can invest all their time and energy into creating a website.
New users who would like to create a Cabanova account can do so by clicking the small link that reads “or, sign up first” (under the orange “Start Cabanova Now” button). A small pop up box appears and asks the user to supply an email address and password. The user must also check a box at the bottom of the form to confirm their agreement with the Cabanova terms of service. Three color icons are present in the lower, right hand corner of the box for users who prefer to log in with an existing Facebook, Google or Yahoo account.
New users can try Cabanova for free for 30 days. After the trial period has ended, the user must purchase one of the two available subscription plans. The first is a Business plan that costs $11.90 per month and includes unlimited pages, 150 or more templates, customization options, SEO tools, social features, 5,000 MBs of storage space and a mobile version of the sites they create. The Shop plan costs $19.90 per month and upgrades to include ecommerce features and 10,000 MBs of storage space.
Cabanova.com is ideal for small businesses and startup companies that need to build a professional yet budget friendly website. The application is rather inexpensive considering the cost of a professional designer and programmer. Users can choose the Shop plan to actually sell items online or stick with the Business plan to create a basic company website. The application is user friendly and includes a number of ways to customize each site so it is unique and original.

i've been using cabanova for about a year to maintain / build my daughter's irish dance school's website (www.denogla.com) .. it has a mobile device web builder and is constantly upgrading stuff... it's SO easy to use... i have had no problems with them and they are inexpensive... we change/modify the website CONSTANTLY with results from major dance comps (Nov, Feb, April) plus other times... overall it's fast and easy to use (as the teachers constantly change their mind as to what they want) and creating a mobile presence is a snap... integration of google docs also helps... as does their new html5 support (beta) personally for the money i'd give this a 5 out of 5 ... which says a LOT cause we started with the older cabanova software and i would have given it a 0.... the new cabanova is great!
