BusinessCard2 is a creation of Workface, Inc. as a way to bridge the gap between traditional presentation and virtual processes. The virtual business card promotes visibility online.

BusinessCard2 is pushing the virtual business card further by linking to social networks and providing promotional tools.

To create the card, users provide full name, company, job title, industry categories, and images. Users may then add telephone contact information, fax numbers, and address. Then, users are able to complete bios with images. The image upload for the “billboard” portion continually returned an error message despite repeated attempts with different images. Users are also able to add special offers to their cards.

The next section is for linking to websites, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, external links, and feeds. The Files section is for portfolio items, including documents in various formats.

Users then choose a default view for what people will see when the card loads. At this point, users are given the option to feature their card at various levels for fees. To feature a business card in the user’s local directory, a charge of 50 credits per month must be paid. To upgrade an account to SuperPro status, which allows use of a special badge for web pages, 50 credits per month is required. For 25 credits per month, users may add a special compliance statement if necessary for their profession. Credits are explained in the cost section below.

When the card is finished, users may choose to import contacts, invite friends from Facebook, share information on Twitter, and more through the Share section.

An email address and password are required to enter the site. Then users must enter first and last name, country, city, state, zip code, and card page ID.

Card creation is free. The purchase of credits allows users to purchase services to promote their card. Credits range from $10 for 100 credits to $250 for 2500 credits.
