What can you use the app for?
Bounce is an application for people to quickly add and use feedback to improve webpages. It makes communication about website ideas faster and more effective.
What is the history and popularity of the app?
Bounce is a product of ZURB, a design company in California.
What are the differences to other apps?
Bounce allows users to request or provide feedback on websites. Feedback will be “bounced” around to others to generate ideas to help improve the site design.
How does the web app look and feel to use?
The application grabs a screenshot of the site after the URL is entered. It then asks for a name for labeling feedback. Users click to add feedback about whatever page elements they choose. The click opens a text box that can be customized in size to indicate the area that is being commented on. Comments are entered and users click “save” to keep feedback that was entered. When finished, feedback can be shared via Facebook or Twitter. To comment and collaborate as a defined team, users must sign up for Notable.
How does the registration process work?
Registration is unnecessary to post a site and offer feedback, but full collaboration requires registration with Notable. For this, users provide full name, company, subdomain, time zone, email, and password. This allows sharing with three users.
What does it cost to use the application?
Bounce is completely free. Free and paid plans are both available on Notable. The free plan allows users to share with 3 others. Paid plans range from $24-119 and allow for additional users and larger storage and workspaces.
Who would you recommend the application to?
Small companies that would like to collaborate on websites and designs will find Bounce and Notable useful.
  • Free to use
  • Paid plans with Notable available
  • Easy interface
  • Collaborative tool
  • Integrated sharing with Facebook and Twitter
  • No registration required to use Bounce
