Blogger was released by Pyra labs in 1999. At the time, they where making a project management application which contained an internal blog. They never got around to finishing their original application since Blogger was a big success. It was purchased by Google in 2003.

Blogger is easier to work with than most blogging services. It also has virtually unlimited storage space and it boasts reliable hosting.
How does the application look and feel to use?
The blogger look hasn't changed with time. It looks a bit dated and unsophisticated. Although there are nice themes available.
How does the registration process work?
Registration is very easy if you already have a Google Account. You need to enter a screen name, blog title and blog URL (example.blogger.com). Then, you select a theme and you are ready to write.

Blogger is free. You have unlimited posts and 1GB of image storing space through Picasa web albums.
Who would you recommend the application to?
Blogger is great when you need a simple blog for a limited time. It's easy and reliable but misses some of the excitement of the other blogging applications.
