AjaxWindows also comes with a built in sync utility which makes it really easy to copy files between your AjaxWindows Desktop and your computer. This makes it possible to use AjaxWindows as an extension of your existing computer, rather than simply a replacement.
How does the application look and feel to use?
AjaxWindows has quite an attractive and familiar look, when you first log into AjaxWindows you will probably feel quite comfortable because it looks very similar to Windows. You get a familiar (albeit slightly different) start button, clock, and even a desktop which can be customized. AjaxWindows is one of the easiest web desktop applications to understand. AjaxWindows is fully customizable, which means you can easily change the wallpaper, or move icons round your desktop.
However when it comes to using it it’s a different story. The interface is quite clunky and surprisingly slow. Files sometimes take many seconds to actually load. Navigating the start menu can be very frustrating.
How does the registration process work?
Registering for the service is very easy, you simply need to click on the orange “Get an Account” button on the main home page and then fill out your details. You do need an email address in order to register, however no verification is required before you can use your account.
When you check your email you will often receive 2 or 3 emails saying that you have signed up for other services. This is because when registering with AjaxWindows it will automatically register you with Zoho, MP3Tunes, and ScheduleWord.

Who would you recommend the application to?
This website is ideal for people who want to access all of their files on multiple computers without having to remember to carry USB drives or other forms of removable storage round with them. Few people would actually benefit from using this, and until the technology is improved it is only suitable for early adopters.
